Professional Diploma
My knowledge of the digital field was broad, but theoretical only. In order to successfully build my company's brand, I needed a deeper understanding of digital marketing, SEO and PPC advertising, in particular.
Tell us a bit about your experience before the Digital Marketing Institute
After achieving my Master's degree in Marketing & Communications at Bocconi University (Italy), I began working at Brand Consultancy Interbrand. Over four years, I worked with growing responsibility alongside the Head of Client Services and was involved in a wide range of projects across industries, in areas such as brand strategy, brand analytics, corporate design, packaging design and naming. Then I decided to move to Ireland and put into practice what I had learned over the years. I took a position as Brand & Marketing Manager for the Dublin-based start-up Statwolf; that was my occasion to build a brand from scratch!
What influenced your decision to study digital?
My knowledge of the digital field was broad, but theoretical only. In order to successfully build my company's brand, I needed a deeper understanding of all the Digital Marketing fields, SEO and PPC advertising, in particular.
Why did you choose to study the Professional Diploma with the Digital Marketing Institute?
I was impressed by the wide range of courses that the Digital Marketing Institute provides. I felt that the Professional Diploma was the best option for me because it involves all the relevant topics, but allows also a very flexible approach to study. This allowed me to avoid taking any time off from my full-time position.
Since completing the course in the Digital Marketing Institute, how has your Career progressed?
I'm still in charge of Statwolf brand development, and positive results are coming to light. A new, SEO-optimized website has launched, new offers have been promoted across social networks, and the interest in our products and services is growing. So far, so good!
Is there any advice you would give to new students at the Digital Marketing Institute?
I'd advise them to think as much as possible about their specific business/industry while studying for the exam. That really helps to keep all the information top-of-mind, and it's also a path to future career success!
In one word, how would you describe your time in the Digital Marketing Institute?
Revelatory.
